Among the items on the agenda:

  • The Community Development Department will recommend that the City Council charge residents $100 per residential plan review submitted for new construction and $25 for additions and alterations. The city would begin assessing the fees on Jan. 3, 2012. During the , the council voted to implement a residential plan review program. That move could help the city's Insurance Service Office rating—and save homeowners from property insurance hikes. The rating is used to set property insurance rates.
  • Council member Bob Rush will discuss an incentive program involving low flow/dual flush toilets. The program could put money back in the pockets of water customers who elect to install the toilets in their homes.
