There are several decisions before the board. They need to decide whether or not to raise the license fee for those who want to sell on Sunday. It could possibly be a separate fee for Sunday, said Commissioner Harry Johnston.

With the county "scrambling for revenue" it's likely some increase will occur, Johnston said.

He said the county raised the fees when it went to liquor by the drink on Sundays.

Another decision involves what to do for the remainder of 2011. Some businesses have already renewed their license for 2012.

"What do you do about this little stub period?" Johnston said.

The board will also have to decide when to make the changes to the ordinance effective. Johnston said he can't imagine that it wouldn't be immediately.

The board will meet at the county government offices at 6 p.m.
