Cherokee To Close Bells Ferry Road for Bridge Inspection
Bells Ferry Road at the Little River Bridge will be closed for four hours on Thursday, Jan. 23.
A portion of a major thoroughfare in Cherokee County will close next week for inspection.
The Cherokee County Roads and Bridges department will close Bells Ferry Road at the bridge over Little River between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23.
The road will be closed the length of the bridge, which will be inspected by representatives with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The county agency will post detours for drivers to use Towne Lake Parkway to access Interstate 575, which will take drivers to Sixes Road.
