UPDATE: Canton Issues Boil Water Advisory For Residents

Residents and business along a small area of Highway 140/Waleska Road should boil their water until further notice.

Update on Friday, April 4 at 1 p.m.: the city has lifted the boil water advisory.

ORIGINAL STORY

A water main break is forcing the city of Canton to issue a boil water advisory for a small group of residents on the north side of the city.

Residents who live on the west side of Highway 140/Waleska Road along Shoal Creek Road, Whispering Woods Drive, Old Donaldson Road, Misty Creek, Mill Street, Puckett Creek Drive and Creek View Place should boil their water until further notice.

Residents in these areas have also experienced low water pressure or loss of water. The city notes residents and businesses in this area should "expect interruptions and/or loss of service until the repairs are completed."

The boil water advisory will be in effect until further notice.
