Canton Favors County Parks Agreement
The county would manage programs at several parks, but the city would still be responsible for maintenance.
members seemed to back an agreement giving Cherokee County the authority to operate programs at , Harmon Field and a new city park currently being developed on Brown Industrial.
At tonight's council meeting, Mayor Gene Hobgood asked city manager Scott Wood to continue negotiations with the county.
