Canton City Clerk Headed to Alpharetta

Coty Ervin starts Sept. 26.

Alpharetta didn't have to look too far for a new city clerk. Coty Ervin has been working as Canton's city clerk for the past 18 months. She will start Sept. 26 to fill the vacancy left by Sue Rainwater's retirement earlier this year.

City Administrator Bob Regus introduced Ervin to Alpharetta City Council on Monday night, Sept. 6.

Ervin earned her masters in public administration from Kennesaw State University after a bachelor's at the University of Georgia.
