Brown Park Closed Until June 13
The park will be closed as the Canton makes strides in its Main Street Pedestrian Connector project.
A project to enhance pedestrian connectivity in downtown Canton has forced the city to close Brown Park.
Canton on Thursday closed Brown Park, located across the street from City Hall, to public use. The park will be closed through June 13.
The closure is part of the city's Main Street Pedestrian Connector project, which would improve pedestrian mobility along Marietta Road, Church Street, Elizabeth Street.
These improvements would connect with existing sidewalks along East Main Street.
