No one was injured in a Wednesday night trailer fire, the spokesman for said Thursday.
Shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday, members of the county and responded to a structure fire at 341 Canton St., located off Highway 140.
No one was inside the home when "firefighters arrived on the scene to find flames and heavy black smoke coming from a single-wide trailer," Tim Cavender said in a news release. "The fire was quickly extinguished, however, the trailer received extreme damage and was gutted by the fire."

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
