Threat Lands Man in Jail
Witnesses said Charles Cormier Clifford threatened to "shoot up" the Cherokee County Administration Building and Conference Center on Monday.

Charles Cormier Clifford, 59, was arrested at his home on a charge of terroristic threats, said Lt. Jay Baker, spokesman for the .
The threat, Baker said, came after Clifford was denied a business license.

"He failed to provide the proper paperwork," he said. "According to witnesses, Clifford threatened to “shoot up the place” before leaving the building."
Clifford is being held at the county jail without bond.
