This Week in Canton Crime: Sept. 14-20

Here are the latest crimes being investigated by the Canton Police Department.

As usual, the Canton Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Canton between Saturday, Sept. 14 and Friday, Sept. 20:

  • On Sept. 16 at 11:15 a.m., an entering auto was reported in the 100 block of Marietta Highway.
  • On Sept. 16 at 5:08 p.m., a theft by shoplifting was reported in the 1500 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On Sept. 18 at 1:24 p.m., a theft by shoplifting was reported in the 1400 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On Sept. 19 at 7:00 a.m., an entering auto was reported in the 700 block of Transit Avenue.
  • On Sept. 20 at 4:00 p.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 600 block of Alexander Ridge.
