This Week in Canton Crime: June 8-14

Here are the latest crimes being investigated by the Canton Police Department.

As usual, the Canton Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Canton between Saturday, June 8 and Friday, June 14:

  • On June 10 at 11:55 p.m., a theft of lost or mislaid property was reported in the 700 block of Transit Avenue.
  • On June 11 at 5:26 p.m., identity fraud was reported in the 2100 block of Hearthstone Landing Drive.
  • On June 11 at 6:02 p.m., a simple battery was reported in the 1100 block of Marietta Highway.
  • On June 11 at 11:20 p.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 100 block of Marietta Highway.
  • On June 12 at 9:33 a.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 500 block of Waleska Road.
  • On June 12 at 7:47 p.m., a battery was reported in the 400 block of Marietta Road.
  • On June 12 at 8:00 p.m., a battery was reported in the 3700 block of Cherokee Overlook Drive.
  • On June 13 at 2:16 p.m., pandering was reported in the 1500 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On June 14 at 10:42 a.m., a residential burglary without force was reported in the 1 block of Greenwood Drive.
  • On June 14 at 7:19 p.m., a theft by shoplifting was reported in the 1500 block of Riverstone Parkway.
