This Week in Canton Crime: June 29-July 5

Here are the latest crimes being investigated by the Canton Police Department.

As usual, the Canton Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Canton between Saturday, June 29 and Friday, July 5:

  • On June 29 at 1:15 p.m., a simple battery was reported in the 400 block of East Main Street.
  • On June 29 at 5:00 p.m., a theft of lost or mislaid property was reported in the 2200 block of Riverstone Boulevard.
  • On June 30 at 9:24 p.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 2000 block of River Ridge Drive.
  • On July 1 at 1:15 p.m., a simple battery was reported in the 100 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On July 1 at 3:00 p.m. two thefts by taking from a building were reported in the 100 block of Riverstone Terrace.
  • On July 2 at 5:10 p.m., identity fraud was reported in the 300 block of Cabinwood Trail.
  • On July 3 at 3:52 p.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 2200 block of Riverstone Boulevard.
  • On July 4 at 2:50 p.m., a burglary without forced entry was reported at a residence in the 100 block of Riverstone Terrace.
  • On July 5 at 2:36 p.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 100 block of Railroad Street.
  • On July 5 at 3:07 p.m., a theft by taking was reported at a building in the 100 block of Riverstone Terrace.
