This Week in Canton Crime: June 22-28

Here are the latest crimes being investigated by the Canton Police Department.

As usual, the Canton Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Canton between Saturday, June 22 and Friday, June 28:

  • On June 23 at 8:00 a.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 400 block of Genvieve Drive.
  • On June 23 at 1:44 p.m., a shoplifting was reported in the 1500 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On June 23 at 2:20 p.m., a shoplifting was reported in the 1500 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On June 24 at 9:58 a.m., a theft of lost or mislaid property was reported in the 7300 block of River Ridge Drive.
  • On June 24 at 3:51 p.m., a theft by taking from building was reported in the 500 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On June 26 at 2:36 p.m., an illegal use of a credit card was reported in the 300 block of Eastman Street.
  • On June 27 at 3:00 a.m., a theft by taking was reported in the 1100 block of River Ridge Drive.
  • On June 28 at 1:26 p.m., a simple battery was reported in the 1400 block of Riverstone Parkway.
