This Week in Canton Crime: April 20-26

Here are the latest crimes being investigated by the Canton Police Department.

As usual, the Canton Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Canton between Saturday, April 20 and Friday, April 26:

  • On April 22 at 6:30 p.m., a theft by taking (other) was reported in the 100 block of Kennett Street.
  • On April 22 at 10:59 p.m., a theft by taking (other) was reported n the 10000 block of River Ridge Drive.
  • On April 22 at 10:59 p.m., financial transaction card fraud was reported n the 10000 block of River Ridge Drive.
  • On April 23 at 3:20 p.m., a theft of lost or mislaid property was reported in the 1 block of Anderson Avenue.
  • On April 24 at 12:27 a.m., a theft by taking from a building was reported in the 1500 block of Riverstone Parkway.
  • On April 25 at 3:23 p.m., a first degree forgery was reported in the 200 block of Old Ball Ground Highway.
  • On April 25 at 5:02 p.m., identity fraud was reported in the 700 block of Oakdale Road.
  • On April 25 at 5:30 p.m., a theft by taking (auto) was reported on Marietta Highway.
  • On April 26 at 7:52 p.m., a simple battery was reported in the 200 block of Marietta Road.
  • On April 27 at 8:15 a.m., a theft by shoplifting was reported in the 1400 block of Riverstone Parkway.
