ORIGINAL STORY (11:04 a.m.): A Woodstock man is being questioned by Cherokee Sheriff's Office detectives after he was allegedly acting suspiciously on the campus of Cherokee Charter Academy Wednesday morning.

Deputies were assisting with traffic around 7:30 a.m. when they noticed a "suspicious" man standing on school property, located at 2126 Sixes Road near Canton.

The man, identified as Todd Kristopher Grigg, 31, of Woodstock, began to walk away and then run when one deputy approached him.

Grigg was eventually caught and is being question at the Cherokee Sheriff Office's South Annex on Main Street in Woodstock.

Cherokee Sheriff's Office Spokesman Lt. Jay Baker said Grigg had on him a "BB gun that resembled a semi-automatic handgun, three knives and leather gloves."

Grigg's apprehension comes on the heels of 20-year-old Michael Brandon Hill man entering Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy in DeKalb County and firing an A-K 47 inside the school.

Hill exchanged gunfire with authorities before he was captured. No one was hurt in that incident.
