Sheriff's Office Identifies Worker Killed at Chicken Plant

The 37-year-old man was killed on Tuesday at the Pilgrim's Pride chicken plant in Canton.

The man who was killed in a Tuesday afternoon accident at the Pilgrim's Pride chicken plant has been identified by Cherokee County authorities.

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office has named 37-year-old Christopher Chin of Canton as the victim of the accident. The Sheriff's Office is still investigating the accident that killed Chin.

Lt. Jay Baker of the Sheriff's Office also said that OSHA had been notified of the accident.

I will strongly have to agree with Kelli's comment where the news paper is concerned making a story so short that is convening a death that shows me that the news paper does not respect either

I agree. No pic of the deceased, statement from the family, copy of the obit? But some random shot of a chicken? That's pretty odd.
