The arrest was made after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Rodriguez’s residence "where evidence of child pornography was located," the GBI stated.

The state agency initiated the investigation after "numerous reports were received" from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding emails containing suspected child pornography, the agency said.

The GBI’s investigation led them to Rodriguez's home on West Destiny Drive. At that location, GBI Digital Forensic investigators conducted forensic previews on computers found inside the residence.

Images of suspected child pornography were found on the computers, the GBI said.
