'I Didn't Know What Was Going On'

For the first time since he was exonerated of the September shooting death of a DeKalb County strip club owner, a Canton man speaks.

Last September, Joey Celestin was mistakenly fingered as the suspect in the shooting death of a DeKalb County strip club owner.

Hours after Terry Stephenson was gunned down outside Pin Up's, an adult entertainment club located just east of Decatur on East Ponce De Leon Avenue, police converged on the River Ridge apartments in Canton and arrested Celestin in front of his two sons.

He spent 21 days in jail before evidence revealed he was at work at the time of the shooting.
