Gas Station Robbed on Easter

The suspect threw a rock through the glass door on the left side of the Chevron gas station at 111 Mountain Vista Blvd. just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

Surveillance cameras captured a man robbing a local gas station and the needs your help identifying him.

Just before 3 a.m. Sunday, the suspect threw a rock through the glass door on the left side of the Chevron gas station at 111 Mountain Vista Blvd.

"He then enters and immediately runs around behind the counter where the cigarettes are stored above the register," said Sgt. Stacy Bailey, spokeswoman for the Canton Police Department. "The suspect removes the first pack and places it on the counter, before removing an additional 2-3 packs of what appear to be Marlboro Lights and flees out the same door he previously entered."

Bailey said the man might have fled on foot because no vehicles can be seen in the area in surveillance footage.
