Cherokee Seeks Public's Assistance in Sexual Assault

The just released a composite of this white male.

Spokesman Jay Baker said the man is suspected in the March 2 sexual battery of an Acworth woman.

The woman had just dropped off her child at the bus stop when a man in a white Ford Ranger approached her as she walked back to her Shadowood Mobile Home Park residence off Bells Ferry Road.

The man asked if she wanted to clean his home for money. After the woman entered the pickup truck, the suspect drove to a nearby subdivision and parked in a driveway.

"Neither the suspect nor the victim exited the vehicle," Baker said. "According to the victim, the male sexually assaulted her before driving her back to her neighborhood. The victim received no physical injuries."
