Four deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office received awards during the Mother Against Drunk Driver’s (MADD) banquet held on July 10 in Blairsville.
Deputy Frank Jones was awarded the Chief Clay Adams Honorable Service Award, Deputy Jeff Henley received the 2013 Rookie of the Year, Deputy George Rose received the Outstanding Bravery Award and Deputy Justin Carder was awarded DUI Hero of the Year.
