Canton Police Seek Car Involved in Hit-and-Run

The driver of the car allegedly hit a pedestrian walking inside an apartment complex.

The Canton Police Department is looking for a vehicle that was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run incident.

Just after 7 p.m. on July 12, a pedestrian who was walking in the parking lot inside the River Ridge at Canton apartment complex was allegedly hit by a newer model maroon Chevrolet Impala.

The department's traffic unit believes the driver behind the wheel was an older black woman. Anyone with information is asked to contact officer Dwight Tipton at
