Some workplaces have strange initiation rituals and hazing rites, but how would you like it if you got shot with a taser within an hour of being hired?
That shocking fate befell recently-hired Canton Police Department Officer McPherson was attending taser certification classes on his first day of duty when he was put in front of the device to receive a jolt.
He was not alone in his shocking experience, as he was joined in the unpleasant feeling of having electricity course through yout body by Officer Moss.

It was all in good fun, and served a purpose: these two officers, and any other officers who are on the receiving end of a taser, now have first hand experience with the device and will be better suited to use the device in situations that may call for it.
