Canton Police Identify Body Found Behind Marketplace

Authorities have ruled out foul play in the death.

The Canton Police Department has identified the young man whose body was discovered behind the Canton Marketplace Sunday morning.

In a press release, the department named 19-year-old Sergio Oliverio Padron as the person located in a wooded area by hunters at roughly 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Police have ruled out foul play in Padron's death, according to the same release. Authorities said that the death was initially labeled as suspicious due to Padron not carrying any form of identification or being listed as a missing person.
