Canton Police: Help Us Identify Body

The department is hopeful that you recognize some of this man's clothing.

The Canton Police Department is turning to the public to help identify the man whose body was found behind the Canton Marketplace on Sunday morning.

The man is being described as a 20-30 year old Hispanic, standing at 5'6" and weighing 150 to 160 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair and has no scars or tattoos.

He was discovered wearing blue jeans, a gray button down shirt and a gray and black Aeropostale brand fleece jacket. He was also wearing black Sperry Topsider shoes, black Joe Boxer socks and gray Calvin Klein boxer briefs.

Anyone who knows the identity of this man is urged to contact the police by calling 911 or (770) 720-4883.

I do not feel like the public is going to be stupid enough to help the Canton Police Department identity the man body found Sunday, the public does not get paid to help with this

Hopefully someone will be able to identify this man, so his family can know where he is and he may be put to rest. If he was murdered, I would like for this to be known, and hopefully his murderer will be arrested,

Do you know if yet are going to give a drawing picture of the face to see how he looked liked or the results of the autopsy?
Justin Ove (Editor) December 12, 2012 at 06:56 AM
Eddie, I suspect a sketch of the man and results of the autopsy will be forthcoming in the next few days; I played phone tag with the county coroner and the GBI to learn the police are in charge of releasing the autopsy info. In the meantime, why not submit a photo of Eddie to me (click my e-mail address on the top left corner of the page) and I can pass it along to the police? Best, Justin

A photo of myself?

I don't think i would want to see a picture a decomposing body. I would not want the job of drawing a dead person. I guessing there is a reason I have not seen picture. how would you get that job anyway.
Justin Ove (Editor) December 12, 2012 at 11:13 PM
Scott, Yeah, that's something I'd rather not have to think about. I hope their sketch artists can help us figure out who this person is soon! Best, Justin
