Canton Man Arrested for Lewd Behavior in Car

David Lee Kiehl allegedly exposed himself to two teenage girls while driving on a busy thoroughfare in Roswell.

A man who allegedly exposed himself to two teenage girls while driving on a busy Roswell thoroughfare has been arrested.

David Lee Kiehl of Canton was arrested on Thursday, March 20 and charged with felony child molestation and two counts of public indecency after a photo was taken of him exposing himself in his vehicle, according to booking records from the Fulton County Jail.

On March 14, a woman and her 13- and 14-year-old daughters were traveling on Holcomb Bridge Road and came to a stop at the traffic light at Old Roswell Road.

According to Roswell Police, a man driving a dark-colored Subaru pulled up next to them. The man, who had a towel covering his lap, looked at the family, removed his towel and "began to pleasure himself," the agency wrote on its Facebook page.

One of the victims took a photo of the man's car and license plate number as he drove away.

A similar incident occurred in the city of Alpharetta in 2012 involving Kiehl, and the victim also took a photo of the man inside his vehicle.

"We are very proud of the women who have been empowered with their cell phones and took photos of Kiehl and his vehicle," the agency added.

Roswell police believe there may be other victims, and anyone with information is asked to call Detective DeWeese at (770) 640-4100.
