Canton Crime Reports Map Available Online
The map includes property crimes, assaults, burglaries, and the locations of sex offenders.
The City of Canton Police Department is bringing its campaign to inform citizens about crime in the city to the internet.
The department has teamed up with www.crimereports.com, a website that allows citizens to view the locations of recently reported crimes, report crimes or provide information to authorities, and discover where registered sex offenders reside.
The site has a fully customizeable options menu that allows users to pick and choose what crimes they want to see displayed and how far back they want crime reports to go. Users can also get a list of crimes for their area.
