Elderly Woman Struck in Great Sky

The woman, who appeared to be in her late 60s, has been flown to Grady Hospital in Atlanta with severe head trauma.

A woman who appears to be in her late 60s was flown to Grady Hospital in Atlanta after a SUV struck her today in Canton's Great Sky subdivision.

spokesman Tim Cavender said the agency, along with the , found the woman in the middle of 215 Towering Peaks.

"She had apparently been struck by a Jeep Liberty SUV," he said.

The woman, who has severe head trauma, is listed in critical condition, Cavender said.

The is investigating the cause of the accident, he said.

I thought the same thing.. must be a young person writing :) ..and by that I mean 20's!

I do not think of anyone in their 60's been an elderly may in their 70's or 80's I would say that they were elderly men or women

Late 60's is not elderly at our house. Maybe when we get in our late 80's.
