After refusing to drop his weapon, the man was shot and killed by deputies outside his home.

A Canton man who was firing a .45 caliber handgun outside his home and involved in a domestic dispute was shot and killed by Cherokee County Sheriff's Office deputies Saturday.

Three deputies who were involved in the shooting have been put on paid administrative leave, and an investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is now underway.

Deputies were responding to a domestic dispute call that included threats of suicide, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Desperate to get money voters and government legalized Sunday alcohol sales last November. Always crime increases after people surrender their community to alcoholics and a flood of strangers just to get the strangers' money. Since last November there have been a series of crime and deaths in the county. Billy Joe Parker Georgia Prohibition 1143 Debord Drive Waleska, Georgia 30183 (770)-479-1322

Also. Just as jodie said. I see nothing that says a word about alcohol here, and even if it did. Do you really think that making alcohol illegal would solve any issues. if you truly do believe making alcohol illegal will solve our social and moral issues, please explain to me how. "a cited study on the matter, an alcohol "crime, drug, death "free society????

I think we need a new sheriff! There are too many folks shot and killed by our police department here in Cherokee County! What happened to our constitutional right of being innocent until proven guilty? Why was he shot dead on his own property when he wasn't threatening to hurt anyone but himself (suicide, right)? So the police tresspassed on his property, took away his second ammendment, his right to a trial , and his LIFE! Did he shoot at the police, why did they shoot him? What happened to tasers, pepper spray, and tranquilizers or some other non-leathal use of force? The sheriff is the head of the operation and he should be in question for all of the deaths on his watch.
