Accident Temporarily Shuts Down Marietta Highway

The wreck occurred at 1:30 p.m. today.

An SUV landed on its top this afternoon after a two vehicle accident in front of , spokesman Tim Cavender said.

The unidentified female driver of a red Toyota Land Cruiser had to be removed from the SUV. She was taken to with minor injuries.

The unidentified driver of a green Chrysler Sebring convertible was not injured.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation, Cavender said.
