Accident Sends 3 to Hospital

All are children between the ages of 2 and 7 years old.

Investigators with the  are trying to determine what caused a single-car accident that sent three children to .

Around 5:40 p.m. Friday, Joey Holloway of Waleska drove off Highway 108 near James White Trail in Waleska and slammed into a tree, said Lt. Jay Baker, the agency's spokesman.

Holloway's 2-year-old daughter was taken to  with a skull fracture, then flown to Scottish Rite's Intensive Care Unit, where she remains in critical condition.

Two other girls, a 7-year-old with a broken leg and a 4-year-old with bumps and bruises, were also transported to Scottish Rite. Their conditions are not known. Baker said they are related to Holloway, but did not specify how. 

Holloway, 27, received no serious injury in the accident.

Baker said no charges have been filed at this time.
