Obituary: Georgia M. Barron, 79
A wake will be held tonight at Sosebee Funeral Home and Barron will lie in state between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Hickory Log Baptist Church.

Georgia M. Barron, 79, of Canton passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Hickory Log Baptist Church with Rev. Robert D. Holmes officiating. Per her wishes, Barron will be cremated following the service. A wake will be held on Tuesday evening, December 3rd, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Sosebee Funeral Home.
Barron will lie-in-state from 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the church on Wednesday.
Mrs. Barron is survived by her husband, Alden Barron of Canton, three children, 12 grandchildren, numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family also survive.
