In Memory: Paul Burrell, Sunlight Baptist Church Pastor
Burrell was laid to rest at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

Paul V. Burrell, 83, of Canton, passed away on Dec. 18, 2013.
Paul was born and raised in Cherokee County, and served as Pastor of Sunlight Baptist Church and New Home Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 45 years, Martha Castleberry, and his second wife of over 10 years, Joyce Sheppard.
He is survived by his daughters, Barbara (husband, Robert) Rich, and Brenda Burrell; step daughters, Pat (husband, Ken) Howard, and Terry (husband, Danny) Sherrod; two grandchildren, Michelle Rich and Bobby Rich (wife Valerie); four great-grandchildren, Nicholas Bannister, Josie Cantrell, Carson Rich, Dalton Steele; sisters, Ruby Parker and Jewel Clay; brother, Hugh Burrell; he was "Uncle Daddy" to Evelyn Burrell, Stanley Burrell, and Theresa Freeman.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 21 at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors with Elder Red Cagle officiating. Interment followed at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
