Lois Elizabeth Brock Owens, 97, of Canton passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Cameron Hall. Owens was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canton and a Women of the Moose.
Funeral services were held today in the chapel at at South Canton Funeral Home with Doyle Sims officiating. Interment followed at Cherokee Memorial Park.
The family received friends on Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by husband Howard "Shorty" Owens, son Raymond Lamar Brock and daughter Patricia Brock. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Gordon and Olenna Owens of Canton; daughter-in-law Janet Brock of Norcross,
grandchildren Nancy Nelson, Vickie Evans and Chuck Evans; five great-grandchildren; and niece Pam Barfield.
