In Memory: Jesse "Glenn" Densmore Sr., 93

A World War II veteran, Densmore was the owner of Densmore Furniture in Ball Ground and a member of the American Legion.

The following obituary was submitted by Sosebee Funeral Home:

Jesse "Glenn" Densmore, Sr., 93, of Ball Ground passed away on Dec. 8, 2013, at Sonshine Manor Personal Care Home in Jasper. 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Wigington officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family received friends on Monday at the funeral home.

Densmore was the owner of Densmore Furniture. He was a World War II Army veteran, a member of Ball Ground Masonic Lodge #261 and the American Legion Thomas Brady Post 45. 

Survivors include his children, Glenn Densmore, Jr. (Sue) of Ball Ground, Gail Moore (Jack) of Canton and Ginger Wigington (Steve) of Ball Ground; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Homestead Hospice, 162 W. Main St. Ste 104, Cartersville, GA. 30120 or Sonshine Manor, 115 Stephens View Rd., Jasper, GA. 30143.
