Northside Hospital-Cherokee Hosts 28th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza

Here comes Peter Cottontail… hoppin’ down to Northside Hospital-Cherokee for the 28th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza, Saturday, April 12, 2014, 1-3 p.m.  The event will take place on the hospital grounds, at 201 Hospital Road in Canton.

This year’s event, once again, will include many exciting activities and fun for all ages such as a petting zoo, moon walks, carnival games, face painters, arts & crafts, food, music and much more.  Bring your Easter basket and join us for one of four Easter egg hunts:

  • 1:30 p.m. – for children, age 0 to 3 years old, and for those who have special needs and require assistance
  • 1:45 p.m. – for children, ages 4 to 6
  • 2 p.m. – for children, ages 7 to 9
  • 2:15 p.m. – for children, ages 10 years and up
Admission to the Easter Eggstravaganza, food and activities are free.  However photos with the Easter Bunny are $5 for two photos; souvenir t-shirts are $10 each.  All proceeds benefit the Special Care Nursery at Northside Hospital-Cherokee.

Guests also are encouraged to bring donations of diapers (large size diapers and pull-ups) and/or wipes for MUST Ministries in Cherokee.  Collection bins will be available at the event.

In case of inclement weather on Saturday, April 12, the event will be rescheduled to Sunday, April 13.  In case of inclement weather on April 13, the event will be canceled.  For more information, call 770-720-5132.
