What's Your Glam Plan? 3 Easy Hairstyles for Every Day (And Night!)

These three "glam plans" will keep your hair looking great no matter where you're going or what you're doing.

You’re all set for a night out, or an afternoon in, or a day of working hard at the office. But wait, what’s this? You completely forgot about your hair! What are you supposed to do with such little time to get ready?

In times like these, it helps to have a “glam plan.” A glam plan can save you when time is short and your hair is long…and needs some help! Here’s one idea to get you started – and make sure to find the other two on the Jyl Craven blog!

For a Night Out: Hollywood Curls

Headed out for a fun evening with the girls or that special someone? The right style can make the night, so try these fabulously fancy curls!

When styling your curls we love using a large round ceramic brush while simultaneously blow drying. To help smooth the hair, apply Satin Design by Shu Uemura.

After the hair is dry, curl it in sections. Make sure to use a heat protectant when using a curling iron or you risk damaging your hair as well as night out! We prefer Fibre Architecte by Kerastase because of the complex ciment-cylane technology that heals and soothes hair fibers – all while healing split ends.

Want tighter or softer curls? Use smaller or larger sections, respectively, to achieve your desired look. For a nice finishing touch apply a little Elixir Ultime from Kerastase to your fingertips after your curls cool. Elixir Ultime is an amazing blend of Maize, Procaxi, Argan, and Carmellia Oils that will add strength, protection, nourishment, and shine to all finished styles! Shake your fingertips to gently loosen the product over your hair.

Remember to check out the other two glam plans, “Taking Care of Business” and “A Casual/Comfortable Day,” on the Jyl Craven blog!
