As you map out your Black Friday and Small Business Saturday route, consider these small businesses.

Every year around this time, we see the same image on television: crowds of holiday bargain hunters at some big box or other major retail store waiting for the sliding front doors to part.

As you map out your Black Friday route, don't forget about local businesses.

Here's a sample of businesses in Canton with Black Friday and Small Business Saturday specials to help you scratch items off of your holiday shopping list.

    • Black Friday hours: Yawn's will keep its regular hours, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Small Business Saturday hours: Yawn's will open at 8 a.m. There will be free biscuits, balloons for the kids and lots of local authors.
    • Black Friday/Small Business Saturday specials: If you buy three books, you'll get the fourth one free on Friday and Saturday.
    • Black Friday hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
    • Small Business Saturday hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Black Friday/Small Business Saturday specials: Ask for the $90 "holiday trio," which includes a half-hour massage, mini-facial and a manicure. The $175 "winter wonderland" special offers a little more: hour-long facial, massage, manicure and pedicure.
    • Black Friday hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Small Business Saturday hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
    • Black Friday/Small Business Saturday specials: Customers will receive 50 percent off the cost of engagement rings, diamond pendants, diamond crosses, earrings and more.
    • Black Friday hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Small Business Saturday hours: None specified.
    • Black Friday/Small Business Saturday specials: None specified.
    • While Key's won't have Black Friday and Small Business Saturday special hours or deals, it will have a big promotional the first weekend in December in honor of its 60th anniversary. With the exception of Pandora jewelry, customers will receive at least 20 percent off of all items.
