Shop Locally for Christmas Trees

The Thanksgiving leftovers are gone. Time to set up that Christmas tree. You don't have to go too far to buy one.

  • Location: 1109 Henry Scott Rd., Ball Ground
  • Hours: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Trees/prices: Snow flocking, $5 per foot; Leyland cypress (up to 20 feet), Carolina Sapphire, Naylor’s Blue, white pine, Criptomeria, all $6 per foot; fresh wreaths and Fraser fir, both $15 and up; Virginia pine, $35; blue spruce, $44 and up; and concolor (white) fir, $65 and up.

  • Location: 2200 Riverstone Blvd., Canton
  • Hours: Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Trees/Prices: 5½- to 7-foot-tall Douglas fir, $27; 6- to 7-foot-tall Noble fir, $42.47; 7- to 8-foot-tall Fraser fir, $39.96; 8- to 9-foot-tall Fraser fir,  $59.95; and 9- to 10-foot-tall Fraser fir, $76.
