Sam Moore Schedules House District 22 Town Hall

Cherokee County freshman representative Sam Moore will hold a town hall meeting on Saturday morning in the eastern part of the county.

Moore will hold the meeting at Simply Southern Restaurant, which is located at 12400 Cumming Highway in the Free Home community east of Canton.

House District 22 covers portions of Cherokee, Forsyth and north Fulton County. 

"I blocked (off) the entire day and will be around as long as needed, so be patient as we're expecting many, many more people than when this was first planned weeks ago," Moore said in his newsletter. "Everyone will get a turn (to speak)."

Moore has come under fire for a bill he introduced that would have loosened restrictions on loitering. The bill, which has since been withdrawn from consideration, would have allowed sex offenders to loiter in places where children primarily congregate.
