Early Voting Starts On Monday

Voters can cast ballots between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. today through Friday and next week at the Cherokee County Elections and Voter Registration Office.

Cherokee County residents who want to get a head start on voting can start today.

Early voting kicks off today at the Cherokee County Elections and Voter Registration Office today in downtown Canton.

Residents can cast ballots between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. April 28-May 2 and May 5-9.

Along with the elections office, the county will also open four locations where residents can vote from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 10: Ball Ground Public Library, Hickory Flat Public Library, Woodstock Public Library and Rose Creek Public Library. 

Advanced voting will start on May 12-16 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the elections office and the four libraries listed above. 

No voting will take place on Monday, May 19. All county precincts will open on Tuesday, May 20 for the primary election. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Cherokee residents can visit the Georgia Secretary of State's My Voter Page to view the sample ballot, polling location and the elected officials they will cast ballots for.
