Candidate Forum Set for House District 22 Race

The Forsyth County Republican Party will host a candidate forum next week in Cumming.

The four Cherokee County residents vying to become the elected official to represent Georgia House District 22 will face off in a forum next week in Forsyth County. 

The Forsyth County Republican Party will host a candidate forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at Fowler Park. The park is at 4110 Carolene Way in Cumming. 

Republican candidates Meagan Biello, Nate Cochran, Jeff Duncan and Sam Moore have all agreed to participate in the forum. Each candidate will have a chance to speak, and the audience will have a chance to submit questions. 

The special election to fill the seat is set for Tuesday Jan. 7, 2014. Polls will be open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. that day.
 
State House District 22 covers portions of Cherokee, Forsyth and Fulton counties.
