'Pill Mill' Partner Pleads Guilty, Hit-and-Run Victim Taken Off Ventilator

One of the five people accused of operating a "pill mill" in Cartersville has pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with federal authorities.

Emily Bowman Comes Off Ventilator While Athens Police Burn The Midnight Oil - Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch

The 19-year-old Woodstock woman who remains in critical condition at Athens Regional Medical Center after being struck by a truck on Feb. 16 in a hit-and-run has reached another milestone in her recovery.

Emily Bowman has been taken completely off a ventilator and is now breathing through a tube placed in her trachea "that provides moist, oxygenated air," her uncle Neal Bowman wrote on the Bows for Bowman Facebook page. Visit Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch for more on this story.

Atlanta Police along with CrimeStoppers is actively trying to find leads and information that will lead to the arrest of 2 men, who robbed and subsequently shot a man near Capitol View in the 500 block of Mellview Avenue.

Woman's Body Found in Truck in College Park - CBS Atlanta

ollege Park police are investigating after a woman's body was found inside a truck along Atlanta Street near J.T. Alexander Drive.

Shuttle Bus, SUV Collides on I-85 - Fox 5 Atlanta

Police say an airport shuttle bus was involved in a crash near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday morning, leaving one person hurt.  

The crash happened at the ramp connecting Interstate 85 and Riverdale Road, and it caused the exit ramp from I-85 southbound to be shut down for more than two hours. Visit Fox 5 Atlanta for more on this story
