Five Men Arrested in Connection With Tuesday's Shooting in Monroe - Monroe Patch

Walton County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Keith Brooks confirmed that five men are in custody in connection with Tuesday's shooting in Monroe.

$50K Bond Set For Hit-And-Run Suspect - Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch

Bond was set at $50,000 this morning for the alleged hit-and-run driver accused of injuring a Woodstock High School graduate.

Day Care Van on S. Hariston Catches Fire - Stone Mountain-Lithonia Patch

A day care van on S. Hairston near Wesley Chapel caught fire Wednesday afternoon. No children were on board the van, according to WSB.

Cops: 'Stare down' at QuikTrip Leads to Deadly Gunfire - Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The two men didn’t even exchange words inside a Clayton County convenience store. But minutes later, one shot and killed the other, Clayton County police said Wednesday night.

The two were inside the QuikTrip on Ga. 138 shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday when the silent confrontation began, Major Johnny Robinson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The men stared each other down inside the store, then left in separate vehicles, Robinson said. Fire at Centennial Place Apartments Damages Clubhouse - Midtown Patch

The Atlanta Fire Department was able to contain a predawn fire at the Centennial Place Apartments located at 526 Centennial Olympic Park Dr., near Pine Street, Thursday morning.
