According to a Cherokee Sheriff's Office release, King was arrested in Indian River County, Florida on April 6 at 10:30 p.m. At the time of her arrest, King was at her boyfriend's home.

King was wanted for aggravated assault with intent to murder, aggravated battery with disfigurement, and kidnapping with bodily injury.
