Cherokee County is blessed with accomplished educators.
Having access to a good education is fundamental to the youth of our county
to attain their dreams.
A school system is a magnet for people that are considering where they want to raise their family. Of course, growth must be managed. Overall, our local governments have done a pretty good job in the past. Mistakes will not likely be repeated. Our tax base must include commercial growth as residential growth alone is not sustainable without higher taxes. But I think our county is positioned well for commercial development and successes will increase in the coming months and years.
Because of growth over the last 20 years, there is no doubt that Cherokee County is an even better place to live.
Let's support our educators who deserve so much of the credit for our county's prosperity.
