Whew! What a Ride!

So relieved now that the election is over!

Last night was an emotional, tense, up-and-down roller coaster ride!  I am so happy the ride is finally over!  A friend of mine hit the nail on the head when she said, "So, is anyone else just ready to have this baby already?"  Yes – that feeling!

I will pray for our country that the president elected into office was the right choice for us.  I will pray for his wisdom and clear perspective.  And for the Amendment One – I breathe a sigh of relief.  Whew!  That was a lot of worry and stress and we're finally here – a place we can continue to take the steps to improve the quality of education Georgia's kids receive.  So, to those who voted for the amendment, thank you!  To those who voted against it, you heard a lot of things that are not going to come to fruition.  I promise you, this is about improving education in Georgia ONLY.
