Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q

If you're in the mood for barbecue, this hits the spot.

Overview: If you’re looking for a down-home barbecue restaurant, Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q is a winner. The eatery slow-cooks all of its meats to perfection. The brothers opened the original restaurant in Marietta in 1990. Then came one in Canton and another in Douglasville. It has grown to be a state landmark. Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q caters and sells its barbecue sauce onsite.

Entrée: There are many platters to choose from, but if you’re really hungry, try the all-you-can-eat platter with a choice of meat and sides. The sides will fill you up on their own. Favorites are fried okra, Brunswick stew and baked beans. If you’re interested in lighter fare, the salmon or grilled chicken is delicious. They also have domestic and imported beer.
