Since July 2, 19 New Unincorporated Cherokee Businesses

Cherokee County's economy seems to be in full recovery mode.

A new vehicle roofing plant will soon set up shop in the county, and is expected to bring 300 new jobs to the area.

Due to the rising value of the county's tax digest, the Board of Commissioners has made clear their plans to lower the millage rate for taxpayers, and is expected to formalize the roll back later this month.

The new Woodstock outlet mall will hold its ribbon cutting on July 18, and is expected to bring over $100 million in sales revenue to the county each year.

With this healthy economic outlook, it's no wonder that new businesses are opening up all over unincorporated Cherokee County. Since July 2, 19 business license applications have been filed with the county government.
