Overview: Pure Taqueria is a new addition to downtown Woodstock. It offers a modern twist on Mexican food and has become a popular weekend hotspot.
Décor: The restaurant is located next to the old railroad station and sits in the middle of a beautiful courtyard. The building, reminiscent of an old time gas station, features art deco inside and garage doors in the side dining room to open on nice days. The upstairs has a rooftop bar with awnings.

Entrees: The menu consists of your favorite Mexican dishes. Pure Taqueria serves chips when you are seated and keep them coming. The fish tacos are a favorite. With a creamy coleslaw and their special sauce, the fried fish just melts in your mouth. It’s served with your choice of beans and rice. If you love mussels, then you must try their “mejillones con chipotle” mussels steamed in chipotle butter with ciabatta toast. Entrees cost anywhere from $8 to $20.
Drinks: The bar serves imported and domestic beers as well as wine and mixed drinks. Pure Taqueria has wonderful margaritas and mojitos.

Service: The service is friendly. They may be a little slow on busy days, but it’s always worth the wait.
